i totally missed that tweet by stephanie perkins about isla. OMG!!! yay!! i've had that book on pre-order in what feels like forever. also, i like the one where it's not often you're in bed with the author of the book you're reading lol

LOVE Rae Carson's tweets about blurbs. (Every book nerd takes an unputdownable book into the bathroom from time to time.)

Margot Wood has a great idea-I would have loved book parents. I also think Joe Hill makes a good point-why aren't we asking more creators why they don't have strong female characters?
