Good morning everybodee!!
(The first book I ever read was THE MONSTER AT THE END OF THIS BOOK starring Grover and he has influenced my spelling ever since. Parents: be careful of those books during the formative years because we NEVER forget. Well, up until the 20's. After that, it's all a purple haze. p.s. visual aids. I meant visual aids. arts? I'm ridonkulous.)
The point of this post: Check out GUITAR NOTES by Mary Amato. Obviously it left an impression on me (Kristan too). I love these quiet books that don't necessarily get the kind of attention they deserve. Here at We Heart YA we love discovering these little gems. And there must be so many more out there. Something like 300,000 books get published every year (right? I'll go check my facts) and how many are buzzing about on twitter? A lot, but not enough. So let us know in the comments about a book you loved (or even just liked a lot) that didn't have a lot of hype. We'd love to check them out!!

Ridonkulous and adorable!! And a secret musical talent - how could you never tell us before? :P
I think PEGASUS by Robin McKinley is another under-the-radar amazing book, and I'm hopeful that the sequel will finally come out next year.
Awesome first vlog! I love the guitar and you should definitely keep it around for future vlogs :-)
Oh, and I have to check out that book

Awesome first vlog--Guitar Notes is on my TBR list!
@Kristan...thanks for giving me some confidence!! Yes, PEGASUS deserves lots of hype and no one's been as patient as us in waiting for the sequel. :)
@2mara...thanks so much for commenting and saying the vlog was awesome. it's definitely staying around so when I learn how to edit I can look back and laugh at myself!
@Valerie...*fist bump* for the first book share. We SO would have been elementary school friends, bonding over Grover and all. :)
I really think you'll like Guitar Notes, my Contemp sista!
